VolksWest are now selling custom built
"Teardrop Trailers" a very cute and practical sleeping accommodation. Custom
Built to order in the classic teardrop shape out of
traditional plywood and aluminium. The Teardrop Trailer is light and
aerodynamic yet very sturdy. It can be easily towed by the smallest of vehicles and
provides a very comfortable place for two adults to spend the night. It is very well
insulated and can be seen on my Trailer build page
and is available with a variety of interior options including as standard
:-12volt ceiling light, fitted spotlights, outside awning lights and an additional
12v socket for your phone charger, laptop etc, opening doors, spare wheel, 400kg
max weight, steel wheels with 8 inch tyres, large internal cupboard, silver
aluminium body, painted one colour (second colour additional cost) painted
chassis with undersealed protected floor.
Options at extra cost
Variety of bed options from basic foam cushions
to domestic mattress.
12 to 230v 150w inverter to power domestic TV,
mini HIFI etc where no electric hook up is available. £15.00
