It was on a early Saturday morning that me and my brother set out in the VW Beetle to go down to tatarn park. The amount of VW's we see was unreal with people in their cars waving and flashing their headlights at us, it just give me a buzz knowing I had restored my Beetle and got this much enjoyment out of it (and we hadn't arrived there yet). We paid to go in and parked up, then I headed straight for the swap meet to see if I could buy anything of interest (no luck). There was everything there from beer tents to live music and more. We had 1 beer each because I was driving, then it was onto the show 'n' shine, it was amazing to see how much time and effort people put in to their vehicles to keep them looking great. Then we just wondered round looking at other people's cars then by the time we knew it, it was time to go home. What a day we had there it was great fun and all the people were very friendly. If any one has got a VW and is thinking of going to one of these bug bashes i would say you would be daft not to.  Please click on images to see a larger scale.
