Have you ever had
a VW and would like to know where it's whereabouts'? whether it's still going or
it's sadly gone to that big VW Fest in the sky. If so please e-mail
me your details of the VW you once owned with a full description and I will add
it below, and someone out there might be able to put a smile back on your face.
| I have recently been thinking about my 1968,
1300 Beetle which I, (regretfully), sold several years back. I would
really like to trace its whereabouts It's off-white, (I can't remember the
real name for its Colour!), and the registration was SRF584G. It had
amazingly low mileage as it had spent some of its life living in a barn,
it had small eye brows fitted, VW mud flaps and black & white number
plates. I sold it to a chap who lived, at the time, in my home town
of Alsager, near Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, but he moved not long
after I sold the car so I have no idea where it might be! if you can help

| I (or my mum and dad) have just bought a
Beetle for me and my brother to learn to drive in. We think it comes from
Gloucestershire but want to see where it came from and are interested in
it's past. The registration number is WDF 361J I think the Alpine White is

The beetle is in good hands and is being treated with TLC is there anyone

I'm trying to find out if my Mum's old
camper is still alive and traveling. It was a bay window pop top Devon
conversion, orange. Reg no TOD 464J . Many happy childhood memories traveling
in this bus, REWARD OFFERED FOR RECOVERY. (Could go as
high as 4 tins of Stella) Last seen in the South London area. Cheers.

I'm trying to trace some history of my 72 Beetle.
1303S (unusual badging in Australia) I have been told it was sold via a
dealership in Lords then to Isle of Wight then to Australia. Still
carries the square UK plates QM 4997. Chassis no. 133 2135 446. and has

I'm looking for a
particular bug but have no idea if it's even still out there! It
is/was a 1973 bog standard 1200 model Bright Orange Reg No. BFM
749L Last drove it to Salisbury in 1999 where I left it!
I need to know if it's still alive and where it is! I took this
black and white photo in 1996. It is probably of no use to
you whatsoever, but I just thought I'd share it with you. Thanks

HELP FIND BUG YBJ 583N??????
My friend is trying to locate the whereabouts of her
beloved old bug.. Can you help us? She
regrettably sold her “Doodlebug!!!!” a good few years back now
to purchase a characterless “hairdresser’s” Suzuki Vitara
Jeep, as was all the rage at the time…..!!!!!! But now she pines
to know the whereabouts and fate of her trusty old beetle. She has
been to many shows in hope of stumbling across the car but has
never had any luck. As mentioned the registration mark is YBJ
583N. She is (or at least was!) a 1200cc model with ragtop,
teardrop tail-lights and a smoothed off dash. The buyer’s name
was HOWARD BOWERS and he lived in
Wales
. Have you ever seen or do you know of this bug? Is it owned by
someone you know? Do you know Howard Bowers? Are YOU Howard
Bowers?! If you are you would remember travelling to
London
to purchase this Beetle and my friend is certain that you would
remember her Doodlebug!!!! Are you the current owner of this car?

Sold in 1988 (?) from The Old Post Office, Knighton, Nr Market
Drayton. Appears in recurring dreams 2 - 3 times a year.
Ex-owner always wakes up wistful and disappointed to be ex-owner

I am trying to trace my old VW Beetle 1302s
1972 blue with cream interior. Plate LFH 662K. I had to sell it
around 1990/91 due to tight finances. My dream would be for her
and me to be re-united as I miss her so badly. I once entered
her into the Malvern Volksfest and came 2nd in the daily drivers
