New to the family is James Dean born on the 10/04/05 weighing in at 8lb 4oz

Hi my name is Shane Dean born in 1968 and I originally come from Wigan, this is where I used to restore my VW's at my parents house in the back yard. I now live in Westhoughton and this is where the title of my website comes from Volks being Volkswagen and west being Northwest or Westhoughton. When I got into the VW's I was about 21 years old but have always liked them and been into fiddling about with cars from the age of about 13 because my older brother used to do them up. I had such fun restoring them and when I used to order parts, I couldn't wait for them to arrive the next day so I could get on with restoring the vehicle, it didn't matter what the weather was like I used to be out there. Hail, wind rain or snow I wasn't bothered, because if you want something in life you have to work hard at it. My first vehicle a Beetle I restored took me about 18 months to get on the road. My second vehicle the Camper took me about 2 years to get on the road and I enjoyed every minute of restoring these vehicles. So what I would say to anybody thinking of restoring a classic car is go ahead and do it because it will bring you enjoyment in the end and once you get into the VW's you can't get out of them. James Dean was born on the 10/04/05 and weighed 8lb 4oz, he is a beautiful baby.
